A. Hak was established in 1963. Since its earliest days the company has shown a sound Dutch approach to enterprise. Starting as a transport company that gradually and surely started to specialise in the transport of pipelines, its director A. Hak took the first big step in the early 1960s. In addition to transporting pipes, he would also install them. <br>
<br>
Developing expertise<br>

The company’s professional and reliable service soon gained in recognition. The Hak Pipelines company was given a very strong impulse when, in the early 1970s, Dutch clients such as the Gasunie preferred to give contracts exclusively to Dutch companies. The expertise developed in this way was subsequently used not only at home but also abroad. <br>

Following the market demand <br>

In the middle of the 1980s A. Hak also turned out to be the ideal partner for the installation of large-scale electricity, central antenna, telecommunications and data communications networks throughout the Netherlands. The company performed the work both independently and in combination with the public facility companies. Following the market demand the specialisations within A. Hak quickly developed further. Design, preparation, installation and management of distribution nets, above-ground installations, as also underground transport pipelines and cables hold no more secrets for the specialists at A. At the start of the third millennium the 1,100 permanent employees at A. Hak put their expertise on offer under the motto “the dedicated workforce”. Our total staffing levels depend partly on the amount of work in our portfolio, varying from 1,100 employees in the winter season to 1,500 in the high season. Any additions to staff are thus quickly and efficiently made. Thanks to our years of experience we have good insight into the staff available on the labour market and their specific qualities. Our own production <br>

We produce many components at our own production locations. For instance, for mast construction and the building of equipment. Take as an example the design and installation of equipment for the chemical and petrochemical processing industries, a true A. Hak speciality. We do practically all the machine processing in our own workplace. For you this means a minimum of inconvenience caused by our work and you can thus concentrate fully on your core activities. <br>
